This March Our Theme is Reuse!
February we celebrated and deconstructed “Money” across the globe. Now March is upon us, and we’re happy to announce our next theme: “Reuse.” Our LA chapter host Jon Setzen selected the theme and recommended us to the wonderful Roxanne Daner who crafted our Reuse illustration.
A few speakers from our 50+ participating cities include Ron Gonen (New York), Stephen Ken (Los Angeles), and Julio Rodriguez (Bogotá).
To find the March event closest to you, keep your eye on CreativeMornings.com, or follow your local chapter on Twitter. As always, free tickets are available starting the Monday before the talk.
Have fun, and if you’re feeling the reuse vibe, bring your own coffee mug!

Ana-log: Family Portrait #8
Home, Los Angeles, CA
Wake yesterday as if from a dream. No time passed, just as temperate as it was in August when we went to sleep—sun setting a little earlier now but that appears to be the only glitch in the hypothesis.  Those 5 months living some parallel existence in a stranger’s apartment, Brooklyn Bridge, Watchtower keeping track of the passing time, falling temperatures, dressed like a cop? half the time, are already misty in my recollection.
Or maybe this is just a warm gauzy dream, some simulacrum of Los Angeles as only movies or cold East coast imaginations could conjure. And we are still in New York, covered in coats.
Only one thing is for sure: Ludlow hasn’t moved the whole time.

Home at last!

Milk + Bookies looks like a great non-profit that exposes children to books and giving. The graphics in the video are also fun and interesting.
